Grand Rapids, Michigan

Grand Rapids Michigan was a great experience for me. We competed in a break-dance competition (my cousin & I) and we made it to Top 4 out of 29. Wish we would of won but overall it was a good experience.

I have a D+ in Geography. I started doing bad ever since our teacher left since she gave birth. Looks like im gonna study hard for this upcoming test on Friday.

Sleep

I really need to work on sleeping better instead of going to bed at like 12 and having to wake up at 6. Cause everytime i dont sleep good i end up falling asleep or almost falling alseep in my first and last hours.

English Class

So in my English class were reading "To Kill a Mockingbird" as a class and i really dont want to read it because.....

a.) I hate reading

b.) I read the book already

In 7th grade i read the book and it was good, but i just dont feel like reading something i already read. Defeats the purpose of reading a book

Breakin The Law

This past weekend i went to a breakdance battle in Madison,Wisconsin.

Best i have ever seen.

It was pretty cool cause it was at a banquet and while the event was going on, a bunch of other people were breakdancing on the sides. Fun event

Playoffs !!!

The Bulls are in the playoffs and will most likey make it to the second round.

Lets see how this goes but im looking for the Bulls to win it all.

Talent Show

Im not sure how many of you know this but this year i will be in the Lake Central Talent Show with Chian Kim, Randall Almazan, and Jesus Daniel Hernandez.

School

Im not sure how many blogs i have to do, so im gonna spend the next hour doing a bunch of blogs just so im caught up.

Last time i had to do all of them in the last day during class.

But i dont feel like rushing my self this time.

Big Guys can move too !!

Once again, my breakdance battle on Saturday was insane.

I saw a battle between 2 big guys. They were pretty good.

PEANUT

While at the battle i seen this little kid who looked at least 10 MAYBE EVEN YOUNGER breakdancing and doing things that i couldnt even do.

This kid was good, at one point i seen him go against a guy that bigger, older, BUT definately not better than him.

This kid im talking about is known...as B-Boy Peanut.

Teaching at Summit Athletics

So recently i have been getting into breakdancing and learning, and this past Friday i went with my cousin to go practice at Summit Athletics in Crown Point. But when we got everyone that goes to Summit WAS THERE ! Summit Athletics wanted us to showcase for them to attract the kids and if we get alot of kids who like it, we can teach them. When i was there a little kid came up to me in awe and said, "How do you do that?" I had nothing to say so i told him that he has to practice. By the end of the day me and my other cousins and guys i practice with were able to teach some kids a couple of moves.

Get Down With The Sickness

So Saturday night me and my step brother went to a breakdance battle and it was awesome.

The battle was called "Get Down With The Sickness" and it was a 7 or smoke em

The point of the battle is for the first person to beat 7 other people. First one to do so, wins.

There were 2 brackets.

The winner of the first one was B-Boy Evol from the Brickheadz Crew

And the winner of the second bracket was B-Boy Shorty Brick who is also from the Brickheadz .

At the end of the night, the 2 B-Boy's battled and in the end Shorty Brick won in an amazing finale.

Spring Break so far

My spring break so far hasn't been that bad.

Friday i went to a break dance battle, competed and made it to the semi-finals.

Saturday i stood at home with my cousin and played basketball almost all day.

And Sunday was my aunts birthday so we had a party.

Its only Tuesday and so far my spring break is looking pretty good.

Hopefully there's more to come.

Soccer

Idk if any of you have ever played soccer and if you have you'll know that the game of soccer is very fun to play but very tiring. If you dont play, and decide to play for the 1st time, you'll come up with the same conclusion.

Every sunday my cousins and I go to a soccer dome and play with some of the older guys in our church.
For being old, some of them can still run.
I had a hard time keeping up, but the next day i was very sore after all the running.
Soccer can be fun playing, but very boring watching.

My family on my dad's side like to watch it.....i cant stand watching. Makes me sick.

Hinsdale, Illinois

So this past friday i decided to go with my cousin to a breakdance battle in Hinsdale, Illinois. When i decided to go i wasn't planning on doing anything, all i wanted to do was watch.

But when we got their they made an announcement that their was an opening in the 2 vs 2 tournament.
After a long convincing argument, my cousin convinced me to join the competition.

Chian Kim, Senior, and I battled in the 2 vs 2 breakdancing compeiton.
We made it all the way to the Semi-Finals in our first competition....ever.

BLOGS !!!!!

Im freaking out that we have to have like 35 blogs, at first i was ahead and kept up with it, but i just stopped and it ended up killing me in the long run.

Now i have to do like 10 blogs to catch up!!!!!!!!

Spring Training

Spring Training for baseball has been starting and so far it seems like the Cubs are off to a good start. I hope i dont have any disappointments this year.

Its depressing being a Cubs fan since we havent won a chamiponship in like over 1,000 years hjkfhdsjkfhiuehfuihweiu I want a championship.

But no matter what happens this year i'll still be a Cubs fan.

Spring Break

This spring break i have no idea what im gonna do, I plan on just hanging out with my friends all week, but well see how that goes.

I kinda wish i was able to go somewhere like Florida, or some place that actually warm!!!!
Its still cold over here at time so right now there's really nothing to do. Im disappointed.

Fantasy

So the other day i decided to play MLB Fantasy Baseball. Last time i played i almost won but i didnt....upsetting.
The whole point of Fantasy Baseball is to draft MLB players and follow them through the season, the better they do, the more point you win.

It may seem simple but the trick is to know when to put certain players. Fantasy Baseball cost me 20 bucks in one season but overall it was fun.

All Star Games make me mad

So this past weekend was the slam dunk contest on TNT and a guy named Blake Griffin jumped over a car for his finale that helped him win.
If you seen it you would know that he only jumped over the hood !!!!

Photography Unit

So we just finished the photography unit in our journalism class.
Overall it wasn't that bad, despite me having trouble with every project that we did.

I kinda liked it though, i wouldnt mind to keep doing photgraphy but we will see.

Blizzard

So i havent posted since the blizzard and THE 3 SNOW DAYS IN A ROW ! ! ! ! !
Sorry im still a little excited.

But anyways, my break was ok. It didnt get good until Friday afternoon when i went bowling. But other than that it wasnt too bad.

I felt like I was trapped since my driveway was really high with snow.
On Wednesday, our first snow day, me and my cousin basically pulled the ultimate mission.

We tried to go sledding on a hill that was right next time my house. But since the snow was so high, it took us about 10 minutes to get to a hill that takes like a minute to get to walking.

Because we were so tired we had to sit down a couple of times on the floor to take a little break. And we got to tired, sled one time down the hill and went home.

Super Bowl Sunday

So its just about 3 mo days until The Super Bowl!!! A little pumped just to watch the game. The reason i feel this game is gonna be good cause no typical teams such as the Colts or Patriots.

Looking forward to see the STEELRS WIN!!!
I want the Packers to lose just cause they beat the Bears and i was very upset.

Finals

So i just took my last finals. It was pretty good. Math was easy, but somehow i managed to get a 69%/

Im just glad i still have a C in the class.

Now its time for second semester.

Winter Break

This winter break i did absolutely nothing and just took care of my sisters. Dont get me wrong, i love my sisters but after weeks and weeks of nothing but looking at little kids my whole day, it can get a little dull. For Christmas we arrived at the first party early and no one was there. And then the 2nd party, not that many people were there. So both partys were pretty bad for the most part.

New years on the other hand, was a little better. Not that many people but pretty good convos.
